 I was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1983, since my chilhood I've been an aviation enthusiast and I've been taking pictures of aircrafts since 1995 with my family camera, years latter I was able to buy a reflex camera and since then I've been taking pictures of anything that flyes in Colombia, travelling around my country in cities such as: Bogotá, Medellín, Rionegro, Cali, Villavicenio, San José del Guaviare, Leticia, Cartagena, San Andrés, Armenia, etc. and also outside Colombia: Quito, Guayaquil, Panamá. I'm an aviation journalist and photographer working for Aviacol.net and several other aviation websites and magazines.

I’m American, born in Athens, Greece in 1954, where my parents were stationed by the US Gov’t.. I’ve been shooting planes since I was about 11 yrs. old as I lived in walking distance to Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport. I spent most of my early life living thru-out Asia & W. Africa.
I now live in the Washington D.C. area with 3 great airports to shoot at. I started out with a B&W Kodak Brownie and now use Canon DSLR’s. My favorite airports are: MIA, JFK, IAD, DCA and BWI.

 I'm an ex Dentist, born in...1938(!), married since half a century, three children, three grand children! First flight in 1945 in a Junkers 52 to Africa, then many times in Halton/DC-3/DC-4/ DC-6B/DC-8/707 etc...Private pilot at 16 years(before driving licence!),I started spotting and b&w photography around 1958, then switched to colour slides in 1962....til 2009.HQAAS initiator and administrator...
